Let me first say thank you to everyone that emailed me with tips. I am very grateful for all of your help and motivating words. Apparently, I was on the right track with adding protein to my diet. I decided to add protein shakes to my routine. I’m eating 5 small, healthy meals a day - breakfast, lunch, dinner and 2 snacks. For my snacks, I have a Muscle Milk Light protein shake with fruit. Since my last post, I’ve alternated cardio and resistance exercises five days a week for about 30 minutes to 1 hour. I managed to lose ten pounds, which is magnificent. But, what I’m really excited about is the muscle tone that I’m starting to see. I know it’s from the additional protein because I exercised after having kids too and I still didn’t have this kind of lean, muscle tone. It’s not bulky either.
